Just got back from the SPA Event in San Diego. It’s an annual thing where senior portrait photographers get together, share ideas and techniques, photograph high school senior models from around the country and learn about upcoming style trends.
The fashion show was awesome – some really cool things coming this year. Check out a couple of the videos from the event. The fashion show one is a bit longer, but worth watching. The other video is behind the scenes footage and images from a model shoot.

High School Senior Model Fashion Show in San Diego at the SPA Event.
Victoria came in a couple of weeks ago for her senior session. She’s a musician and brought her violin, french horn and banjo. It’s the first senior session I’ve done with a banjo! She really wanted snow pictures, but she had a yearbook deadline coming up and couldn’t put her session off any longer.
Well last week we had a snow day and lots of school closings, so I asked her if she wanted to come in for a few more images in the snow. What blast – I’m so glad she came back!
